Using a solution of lactose and a glucometer, I have done a lactose tolerance test on myself. The dose was 75g so it is comparable to my Kraft test. Originally posted on Wykop here.

I have learned several things:
- Lactose has low solubility in water compared to glucose, and is pale yellow in solution form.
- I produce enough lactase to bump up my blood glucose approximately as much as 75g of glucose would.
- However, I am still intolerant of lactose. Following consumption, between 2 and 10 hours I experienced moderate abdominal pain, enormous amount of gas and bloating, acid reflux, diarrhea and my stool turned orange.
- I never want to repeat this stunt again.
